What to Expect After You Request an Insurance Quote
From first contact to bind, here is the typical flow when you request a quote from Cali-Fast or any California agency—and how to keep things moving.

Quick acknowledgment
When you submit our online form, an agent reviews your coverage type, contact information, and vehicle or business notes. Expect a phone call or email to confirm details—quotes get accurate faster with a short conversation than with email tag.
If you need same-day coverage, say so up front. We will tell you honestly what is realistic.
Underwriting questions
Carriers may run motor vehicle reports, loss history, and credit-based insurance scores where permitted for the line of business. Commercial risks might need loss runs or equipment schedules. Missing documents are the main delay.
Comparing options
We present price, coverage limits, deductibles, and carrier financial strength in language you can compare. This is the right moment to ask “What if I bump liability to the next tier?” or “What is excluded on the GL form?”
Binding and payment
Once you approve a proposal, you sign applications and pay the initial premium (card, EFT, or other arrangements the carrier allows). Electronic ID cards and dec pages usually follow immediately; SR-22 filings trigger after the policy is active.
Service after the sale
Endorsements, renewal shopping, and certificate requests are part of the relationship. Save our number—when life changes, we adjust coverage instead of leaving you guessing online.
